"Who hears these words of mine & puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, & the winds blew & beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine & does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, & the winds blew & beat against that house, & it fell with a great crash."

Matthew 7:24-27

Two months old....a little late :)

Kyler turned 2 months old on June 12th.  I realize I am way behind on doing this post; however, we have been having some internet issues at our house.  Kyler is doing well!  At his 2 month appointment, he weighed 12 lbs 6 oz, that's almost double what he was when he was born.  He is also 2 inches longer too!  One thing we have started doing is giving Kyler a bath every night before he goes to bed.  He really enjoys his baths, he can be crying and fussy, but once he gets in his bath he is pretty content!  Kyler got to meet another very important person too.  Kyler, my mom, and I went over to Geneva and Henry's house.  Geneva is the lady that came to my parent's house every day and babysat me when my mom went back to work after I was born.

On another note, I have decided to stay home with Kyler!  I am not going back to teaching in the fall.  I am really excited that I am going to be doing this, I enjoyed teaching, but being a stay-at-home mom is going to be great.  I will probably be doing some tutoring, which will let me still work with kids one-on-one, so if you know of anyone who is looking for a math tutor, let me know!

We are heading to my parent's cabin in Minnesota for the 4th, so stay tuned, I'm sure we will have a lot of new pictures of Kyler's first trip to the lake!  Happy 4th of July!!
