"Who hears these words of mine & puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, & the winds blew & beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine & does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, & the winds blew & beat against that house, & it fell with a great crash."

Matthew 7:24-27

December Fun

We had a fun time in December preparing for Christmas.  Here are a few pictures of some things we did!

Helping Daddy water the Christmas tree after we got it set up in our house.

There she is!

Helping Daddy put the light on the Christmas tree

All decorated!  Kyler loved decorating the tree and everything about it.  We let him pick out an ornament for this year and he chose an airplane.  All December he told everyone we saw that he had an airplane ornament on our tree!  He also loved to plug in the tree each morning and would always plug it in and then say "Merry Christmas!"  It was very cute.  (Norah on the other hand love to UNplug the Christmas tree and then chew on the chord....) :)

All read to help dad put up the Christmas lights!! (Doesn't everyone wear sunglasses to do this task?!) :)

Putting up the lights on our house

Riding dad like a horse as they chase Norah around the house :)

Decorating a ginger bread house!  I thought Kyler would love to decorate a ginger bread house.  We don't have a "house" mold or a kit, so I got creative with some graham crackers instead! :)

Working on the roof...

Almost done!  Kyler did a great job and had a lot of fun doing this!  I'm sure it will become an annual thing!

We built a blanket fort!  Here's Miss Norah about to head inside!

Kyler coming out!  (We have not done this since...within about 5 minutes of setting it up both kids were crying because of two different injuries....I guess we'll just stick to our collapsible tunnel for now!) :)
