"Who hears these words of mine & puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, & the winds blew & beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine & does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, & the winds blew & beat against that house, & it fell with a great crash."

Matthew 7:24-27

Twins Game

At the beginning of May, Kyler and Erik headed up to Minneapolis for a Twins game.  Earlier this spring, Erik thought it would be fun to take a "guys" trip to a baseball game with Kyler, Kyler's buddy, Ayden, and Ayden's dad, Brett.  After some talking and looking at schedules and tickets, they decided to head to the one on May 1st.  It was a noon game, so they got up and left town about 8:00 in the morning.  As they were planning, they also decided to ask Erik's dad, Craig, and Brett's dad, Lee to go too.  The day they picked ended up being one of the chilliest days this spring, and Kyler actually ended up wearing his winter coat and snow pants to stay warm. :)  They guys had a great day.  They all got up to the stadium and really enjoyed the game.  The twins lost, but they still had fun.  Kyler got to go to the Twins store and pick out a souvenir for the day.  After the game was over, they headed out of town, and then stopped for dinner outside of the Cities.  After dinner they came the rest of the way home, and got home a little after 8:00.  It was a long day, and Kyler was one tired little guy when he got home, but he had a blast.  I think it's definitely something they will do again, and maybe even turn into an annual tradition! :)  Here are some pictures from their day!
