Lindsay's Wedding

One of my good friends from high school got married up in Minneapolis the weekend of August 10th.  Lindsay and I grew up just a couple of blocks away and went to school together from kindergarden through 12th grade.  After college, Lindsay moved to Minneapolis and has been there ever since.  When she called me last year to tell me she was engaged, I was so excited for her, and was excited to celebrate this day with her.  We left on Saturday morning and made the trip up for the 4:00 wedding.  It was in an old church in downtown Minneapolis and was beautiful.  Her reception was held at the Como Park Zoo building.  When we got there, there was a man with a penguin.  The penguin was part of the reception and hung out there while we were waiting for dinner.  Kyler and Norah thought this was great. :)  After the reception we headed back to our hotel for the night.  Sunday we got up, made a quick stop at IKEA and the outlet mall, and then we were on the road home.  It was a quick trip up and back, but so glad we got to celebrate the day with Lindsay and her new husband Phil.  Here are a few of the picts from the wedding.
