Norah's family birthday party was supposed to be on the Saturday after her birthday, February 8th, but after Kyler being up and down with sickness and Norah and Grace having runny noses by Saturday, we postponed her party two weeks to the 22nd. Norah's theme for her birthday was "princess". Every time we would ask her what kind of a birthday party she wanted, she would respond with "a princess party!" Everyone started arriving about 5:30 ready for dinner! We enjoyed a yummy dinner of pulled pork sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, chips, and relishes. After dinner, Norah was more than ready to open up her presents. :) She had a wonderful time opening up each and every gift, and wanted to stop and play with everything, so I had to try to keep her moving. :) She received many wonderful things, and was greatly blessed by all of her family. As soon as presents were done, we sang happy birthday and enjoyed some princess cake and ice cream. :) After cake and ice cream, everyone hung out for a while and enjoyed each other's company. It was a wonderful day celebrating our 3 year old! Here are some pictures from our family party.

Norah's final party was supposed to be on Friday, February 14th, however on Thursday, after Kyler STILL was not feeling very good, we decided to postpone it two weeks too, until February 28th. It's a good thing we did too because at 7:50 pm (on the 14th), we decided to take Kyler to Urgent Care. He still was sleeping terrible and had a fever of 102. Thank goodness we took him in (we had already had him to the doctor once on Tuesday and were told what he had was just viral and to let it run it's course), as he had an ear infection in one ear, one starting in the other ear, and probably a sinus infection. Wish we could have solved this on Tuesday! :) So, after a trip to the pharmacy for his antibiotic, and a good night's rest, Kyler FINALLY started to return to his normal self on Saturday! Anyways, back to Norah's party. :) So, on the 28th, we celebrated Norah's birthday with a few friends. We invited three families over for dinner and the evening. People started arriving around 6:00, and we enjoyed a yummy dinner of tacos, cheesy potatoes, and fruit. After dinner, we let the kids play for a while while the adults chatted. :) The final family arrived, and Norah opened her presents. After presents, we sang Happy Birthday, and enjoyed cupcakes and ice cream. When cake and ice cream were done, the kids were off again to go play. It was so fun to see all the kids playing and enjoying themselves. Between our four families, we had 13 kids here. :) Ages 9 and under. :) Here are some pictures from Norah's friend party.

Even though our parties were delayed, we had a wonderful time celebrating Norah's birthday. We are so thankful for all the family and friends that were able to join us to help her celebrate her special day! She was greatly blessed!
